Compare the MVX to the DMS2tm and the 37DLtm and you will find that you can get all the features you need in an easier to use, more compact and affordable package.

  • Digital Display: For basic applications just set the display mode to DIGITS

  • A-Scan: Allows you to see the return signals which help verify that the correct echo is being measured and avoid false thin measurements that may be caused by laminated or dirty steel.

  • B-Scan: Draws a picture of the back surface, instantly recognize: pitting, erosion, laminations.

  • Through-Coating: Echo-Echo Mode allows correct measurements on painted and coated materials.

  • Data-Logging: Store up-to 15,000 measurements together with A-Scans and B-Scans in multiple files that can be dumped to a PC and exported to an EXCELtm file if desired.

Other features of the MVX include:

  • Adjustable square wave pulser that provides you with the flexibility necessary for both high resolution and penetration requirements.

  • Built in AGC gain control for through paint measurements in multi mode operation.

  • A variety of calibration options is just one more example of MVX's overall versatility.

  • The MVX has the ability to store 64 custom user defined setups. All factory setups can be selected, edited and saved to any setup location.

  • The built-in transducer types offer increased linearity between transducers.

  • The high speed scan feature speeds up the the inspection process by making 32 measurements per second. Remove transducer from the test material, and display the minimum measurement scanned.

  • Use the visual alarm to set hi and lo limits for applications requiring specific tolerances. If the actual thickness value is above or below the limits, a red light is illuminated.

  • Use the find feature to locate the detection point, while automatically adjusting the display to bring the signal into view.
